Husin Othman, an emerging Malaysian contemporary painter acclaimed for his happy childhood paintings will be debuting at Maya Gallery, Singapore with his new upcoming solo known as Nostalgia Timur. It is an exciting body of works that touches on our childhood memories and granting the viewers a reflective perspective on the long lost but not forgotten memories of the past.

Husin Othman has been actively involved in the Malaysian art scene since he as a graduated with a fine art degree from the renown UiTM (University of Teknologi MARA). Upon graduation, he won the UOB Painting of the Year (Malaysia) Award for the Most Promising Artist of the Year in Emerging Category. His recent two man show in 2018 was a hit with most pieces collected by both collectors and art enthusiasts. On top of that, his works has also been exhibited in Shanghai, Bangkok and Taiwan with favourable enthusiasm from his regional collectors.
